Aiganym Sarsembayeva – PhD, researcher, lecturer, and international expert in nuclear physics and solar activity. With over 15 years of experience in scientific research and teaching, she has worked at leading research centers in Japan and South Korea. She is the author of the monograph "Nuclear Reactions in the Solar Atmosphere" (2024) and has published more than 70 scientific papers in international and domestic journals. Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Physics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) in 2007, specializing in "Nuclear Reactors and Power Plants." Completed a master's degree in 2009, defending a thesis on "Determination of Relativistic and Radiation Corrections to the μ-Atom Spectrum." In 2012, earned a PhD, successfully defending a dissertation on "Nuclear Reactions in the Solar Atmosphere." Between 2014 and 2017, conducted postdoctoral research at Hokkaido University (Japan), collaborating with the Nuclear Reaction Data Centre (NRDC) under the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Her research focused on compiling and analyzing experimental nuclear data obtained from Japanese accelerators and developing specialized software for nuclear data processing (EXFOR). From 2020 to 2023, held the position of Deputy Head of the Department for Scientific Innovation and International Relations at KazNU. In 2023–2024, worked at POSTECH (South Korea), conducting research on next-generation piezoelectric motors and participating in the Startup Growth Technology Development Project (TIPS) aimed at developing an ultra-precise nanopositioning system. Since 2024, serves as the Deputy Director of the Center for Accreditation and Institutional Research. Since 2021, has been the scientific editor of the International Journal of Mathematics and Physics, which publishes high-quality research in mathematics and physics. Additionally, serves as a reviewer for the journal Computer Applications in Engineering Education (CAEE), ranking in the top 9% (91st percentile) among international engineering publications. In 2024, was awarded the "Eren enbegi ushin" medal for outstanding contributions to the development of KazNU. Also recognized as a POSCO Asia Fellowship 2024 laureate. Her scientific interests include nuclear physics, solar physics, quantum technologies, machine learning, and programming (Java, Python, R). A frequent invited speaker at international scientific conferences and symposiums. Proficient in English, Japanese, and Korean.
